Journals

The PSO’s journals are central to its dissemination of policy scholarship. They are international in scope, and provide scholars, students, professionals, and all those interested in policy studies, a wide-ranging set of resources. We have been expanding our journal offering into new areas to provide further means to engage in the emerging policy conversations. Some of our titles are published via Wiley-Blackwell and SAGE, while others are fully open access.

Journals include:

Conferences

The PSO organizes and sponsors various events throughout the year, in connection with some of our publications and their hosting institutions. The purpose of these events is to provide non-partisan platforms, to encourage dialogue and exchange of views across the political spectrum. This furthers the goals of the PSO in promoting multidisciplinary discussion of relevant policy issues. PSO members, academics, students, social and business leaders, are all invited to participate.

VIDEOS

The PSO video collection is very special, popular with teachers who find panels and individual papers that punctuate classes as well as with students who benefit from being able to review topics. Thesis writers tell us that they get ideas from the many topics covered. The conferences are often testimony to the evolution of a subject and frequently a leading scholar will revisit research and update progress. The PSO journals and books complement the conferences, offering in depth coverage of a variety of disciplines. A much appreciated virtue is that the conferences are right at the moment, at the cusp of the newest developments.
